In 1971, in Luxembourg, António Paiva founded a unit to fight against the Estado Novo, which ruled Portugal from 1933 to its overthrow on 25 April, 1974 . The former exiled revolutionary, and other activists including Serge Kollwelter, founder of the Association for the Support of Migrant Labour, look back at the historic events that led to the so-called Carnation Revolution.
